4.5 stars. Located at the end of a shopping area, but you don't hear the noise at all. The only noticeable sound from outside, which wasn't loud, was the muffled beeping of the street cars once in awhile before they stop for the night. ||I liked the room's layout, mainly the table that is along the window. I also used the laundry facilities here while I rested from walking for a little while. They had two washing machines in a room near the front desk and I just used the washers, and not the dryers (I let the clothes dry in my room). The washing does include fabric softener as well, which I liked.||The dining area was a little smaller than the other hotels that I have been to, but it is very pretty and I love the color palate of the area. It is warm, bright, and brings an uplifting start to your day.||While a bit further away from the train station, it is close to the street car stations. The shopping mall that this hotel in is pretty and has alot of neat restaurants and a good selection of stores if you need anything. There are also lovely local streets and neighborhoods outside of this shopping area if you feel like exploring. Highly recommend this hotel if you like shopping or just like walking around without...
Read moreWe booked this hotel during our stay a Nagasaki and it was a great decision. The rooms were big by Japanese standard and clean. The bath and the toilets were separated which was useful. The bathroom has a similar format as a traditional onsen in which one could sit on the stool to take a shower before soaking in the tub.||The lobby was located on level 4 and there were free hot drinks like coffee and hot chocolate available for guests to enjoy.||Best thing about this hotel was its location. Its smacked right along the shopping street and there was ample options for food at any time of the day. Famous castella cakes brands had their shops nearby as well. Convenience stores were located just across the road.||Overall, a great stay with friendly receptionist at...
Read moreIf you are driving a car to the hotel you are going to have difficulty finding it since it is located inside a shopping mall pedestrian street. You will not be pulling up to a front door where someone comes out and greets you to take your luggage and help with parking. You are on your own to go find parking in a densely packed downtown Nagasaki. Once you get your car parked you will have to find the hotel entrance in the pedestrian street while carrying your luggage dodging shoppers. There are hotels in the area with drive in parking. Unfortunately, I saw them later when I was out looking for a place to eat.
Rooms are standard business hotel small size. They are dark and not very clean.
Service is fine. Breakfast is fine. I would not stay...
