A local breakfast place. 99% of the people here were Japanese. The clerk that served me can’t understand English at all and the menu is without a picture. So you might use google translate help to order. The set came in a small portion ( honestly none of my family member said they’re full except the kids). The taste is average and the price was quite cheap so if you are interested to find a early local breakfast spot vibes (but not the main meal) This is a place for you.

Took train to takaoka station and walked about 12mins. A quiet neighborhood, a stark contrast from the busy street at Nagoya.

Ordered the sushi bowl ¥1480 and cup of matcha ¥580. The rice is grainy but not dried, thus you can feel each grain when you chew the rice. The seafood is fresh. But I hope that the sashimi could be a little thicker as I find they are bit thin. The matcha is creamy and thick. Very smooth to drink. Some slight sweetener is probably added.

Overall I feel it’s worth to spend 12mins walking here to...
