Literally worst “Chinese food” I’ve ever had. We got the 13k per person set menu and it was so bad. The worst dish of the night was the “fried chicken with lemon sauce”. You would expect to see this kind of “Chinese” dish in panda express or similar crappy Chinese takeaways in the US and Europe, but it did appear in a supposedly luxurious set menu that cost 13k yen per person with three chicken, a piece of lemon and some unseasoned leafy salad plated ridiculously on fine porcelain. I probably would eat them if I paid less than 600 yen and had been starving since morning, but sitting in a fine dining restaurant with 4 courses in I was just getting a mixed emotions of disgust, rage and tiredness. I took one little bite and decided it was one too many. The other dishes were either too sweet or too salty and to describe them accurately: mid Chinese takeaway level. The dessert was the good, but the disappointment from the chicken and the overall mediocre food (if I’m being kind) cancelled it out. The waiters were nice serving us. I made a complaint to one of the waiters when she was collecting our bill. She did make the effort to pull out a translator and let me speak to it but I’m not sure how much she understood. 顔合わせ向け個室確約プラン(コース瑞祥)を13時半開始で利用させていただきました。

お料理の味については個人の好みの問題ですので触れずにおきますが、ランチタイムの最高金額メニューとしては残念な内容とサービスだと思います。

開始30分ほどした時に、追加料理のラストオーダー時間ですと言いに来られました。 まだ飲み物と前菜が出ている時にです。 コース料理を頼んでいるのに、料理の追加？しかも、前菜が出て次の料理も出てきていないタイミングでしたから心底驚きました。

七色小籠包について。 6名利用で7個の小籠包が1つずつレンゲに乗せられ大皿に盛られています。 取り分けは客がすることになります。 7個の小籠包を6人で取り分ける…これもいただけません。 説明を受けている間にもどんどん冷めていきます。 湯気さえたたない冷えた小籠包を頂いたのは人生初でした。

フカヒレの煮込みは、煮込み？ スープの間違いでは？という物が出てきましたので、思わずメニューを二度見したくらいです。

北京ダックも残念。皮のパリパリ感は有りません。

その後も料理内容からするとコスパは良くないと思いました。 普段は楽しみに料理の写真を撮りますが、途中で嫌になり撮らなかったくらいです。

料理を出されるスピードも、問題有ると思います。 ドリンク前菜までは、なかなか出てきませんでしたが 中盤あたりでは急に提供スピードが上がり、説明も配膳も雑になってきて、蒸しご飯とデザートはほぼ一緒に配膳されました。

その時点で14時50分。 お部屋は15時までですと言われ、急かされるように部屋を出ることになりました。 食事の余韻も何もあったものではありません。

Positive: Zensai are amazingly fresh and the sauces are well created. Probably the best Abalone in the city for Chinese style. Interior very pleasant!
