Were to start with this review? How about the beginning. I went for lunch on a Saturday.
The shop is not very convenient, unless you are going to the Brazilian Consulate, which is across the road. It's in Marunouchi over the river, up the hill, around the corner, and down the street. Good exercise before the massive amount of food you're about to consume. Get there by walking is a great idea.
The interior is plain, functional and simple. Nothing fancy about the tables or chairs. Just comfortable and practical. Some Brazilian art on the walls would have been nice. The décor was a little too plain. Everything was clean. There are a couple of tables at the front of the shop but you should make your way down the back for a more spacious and comfortable experience.
There are a lot of things on the menu. I refrained from ordering a burger, even though the table near us ordered and they looked really yummy. Instead, I ordered the Beef schnitzel 「ビーフカツ」(see the photo). It was massive! And I mean huge. It came with potato fries, white rice and a bowl of bean soup. Fries and Rice on the same plate! Someone has a serious carb hang-up. The fries were a little salty, but the bean soup was absolutely delicious. The schnitzel itself was wonderful. The outside was crispy. Inside the beef was cooked to perfection.
Not knowing before hand that the portions were inhumane sizes, I also ordered a mixed Pastel. To start with, it also was massive. What is it with Brazilian food that always has to be the size of…. Brazil? Even though it was huge, the Pastel had less filling that I imagined. It was also very salty.
The staff were friendly, attentive, polite and efficient.
All in all, a pleasant experience. I will go back again and try other things on the menu. Just one...

I would order again for take away as there's no way I could finish the...
