One of the most ridiculous sushi places I've visited - ridiculous value and freshness. I was staying at a hotel nearby and decided to drop by for dinner after seeing great reviews of place. The place seemed very authentic - service staff seemed quite surprised to see a foreigner, and menu was in Japanese only with no pictures such that I had to use Google translate to find out what was on the menu. Decided to order a "seafood bowl", and behold the majestic bowl of seafoody goodness that appeared! It took me a good 10 minutes to eat through the seafood to get to the rice underneath - all that for about USD 20 I think. For a seafood lover, I loved the great variety that the bowl had - salmon, tuna, ikura, anchovies, unagi, crab, sweet shrimp, scallop, swordfish, and tamago - and the fact that everything was so fresh. It was really ridiculous how fresh and delicious and value-for-money it was, and I'm glad I visited this place. Will come back again when I'm in the area.

I ate "Special Lunch Kaisendon", which is written as "No. 1 popular among seafood bowls" on the menu. It's so beautifully arranged that it's hard to decide which one to eat first. And the huge amount! There are normal and large servings and I chose normal, but it was the correct answer. Tasty and filling! If you come to Nagoya, Japan, please try it once!! However, there are few table seats, so you may eat in a tatami room. For those who don't like taking off their shoes to sit down, we recommend reserving a table seat.

They have a combo set of medium fatty tuna bowl, and it's totally worth it if you just want to indulge yourself in the heavenly taste of chutoro. The set also includes miso, tempura, chawanmushi and dessert. The rice is slightly on the sweet side but I think it pairs well with the sashimi. Price is fairly reasonable for the amount of fish you get. The yuzu sochu was very refreshing. The store is very cute and gives you that local sushiya vibe.

Price is fairly reasonable for the amount of fish you get. The yuzu sochu was very refreshing. The store is very cute and gives you that local sushiya vibe.
