This was the closest coffee shop with early-morning hours on Saturday. The wait staff: very pleasant, managed to bridge language barrier, rapid service.

The coffee is very good, but they do serve in small cups. OTOH, food servings are plentiful. For ¥430 got the morning special: coffee, boiled egg, and ogura jam on toast. Note: ogura is from Nagoya--try it! They were so nice that I insisted on leaving them the change (naturally they refused but I insisted, too).

Since I was in Nagoya I had to experience the "morning service" tradition. Coffee comes with complimentary breakfast items like eggs and toast. For an additional 50 yen you can select the ogura toast which was what I got.

Toast itself was soft and fluffy and the red bean paste was the right sweetness as well. Great way to start the day.
