Excellent stop at this grilled fish breakfast set menu restaurant, part of a chain that exists in other cities all the way to Tokyo. And for a chain the skill level is unbelievable because each fish grilled to order is perfectly cooked over charcoal, for an astoundingly low price breakfast. Great value, with sufficient efficient service. Set menus revolved around fish in different preparations, some aged in the air, some salt cured, some marinated in saikyo miso. You pick your fish set menu from a tablet that supports some English, and food will come out to you automatically. They leave a piece of paper with qr code so payment is self service at the entrance where the payment machine is. Great for quick stops before your morning train given that they usually open earlier than most restaurants. The only downside is there is limited luggage space, and limited tables. If someone else is already there with luggage then you might need to wait. Based on a previous review wifey and if decided to go here as she really loves fish. The tablet having an English option and ordering from there made it very convenient and easy. Staff were very nice from the limited contact we had but we're friendly and as helpful as one should be. The fish were cooked perfectly, beautifully charred and moist/ flaky inside. Wife had a seasonal fish whilst I had a mackerel. (Choose wisely if your don't eat fish often as some have alot of pinbones) you can choose a set meal which comes with a small side of pickled radish, and grated Daikon to help cleanse the palate of the charred flavor of the fish. I google searched for the eateries around Nagoya Station and happened to see this restaurant with many fish set meals. I love fish and decided to go for an early dinner to avoid crowd.
