Amiyakitei Meiekinishi — Restaurant in Nagoya

We have been searching for the best yakiniku store since 2017 and this is by far the best, most recommended yakinikuya I have ever tried since I lived here in Nagoya. If you know the wan karubi store around osaka, this has the same level but definitely more cheaper.

We (3 adults 1 toddler) went on a Sunday afternoon. Just called on the same day to ask for a reservation for 3:30pm. And luckily there was slot. I think this is a perfect time. Not too much customers and great selection of meat and a variety of side dishes.

The staff were outstanding, very polite and jolly. We were received courteously and the orders made using a tablet, doesn’t take long to be served, really really quick. This makes your 100 minutes worth for an eat-all-you can service.

We came with my 1 year old toddler and they served cuttlery and bowls for her withour making a request. She enjoyed the buttered corn, salad, fruit juice and egg soup for sure. While we enjoyed almost every type of meat their menu has to offer. It was fresh and very pleasant to the eyes, amazingly flavorful and tender.

I was thinking hardly to give the score of 3 or 4. If there were a half score to give. I would prefer to rate this around 3.75 instead of 4. Overall for meats, It was good quality comparing to the price we pay (all you can eat I pay for 5,500¥ per person). With this price you will get unlimited tongue, wagyu beef and some seafoods like scallop. The reason of not giving 5 to food is because the quality, size of meat for each serve was inconsistent. Also, dessert menus are only limited. The main reason I decided to drop the score are service friendly and atmosphere of the restaurant. My experience was a bit unpleasant because I went there 5:30 PM which 3 more queues ahead of me and that I decided to wait for this. However, it turned out that there are so many reservation queues which doesn’t appear at the queuing machine. Totally It took more than hours until I got the table and started to enjoy the food. The restaurant offers quality ALL YOU CAN EAT YAKINIKU at an affordable price. Their meat choices are superb. Drinks are also unlimited from soda, milkshakes, tea, etc… Need to place your orders in advance because sometimes they are quite busy during peak hours. And you are limited to 2 order per item. The beef is the best! Their scallops and squids are very delicious also! And the all time favorite cheese 🧀! Desserts are ice cream & cream puffs are excellent also!
