One of Nagoya's delicacies: Kishimen. Thin Tagliatelle style noodles in a wonderful mysterious broth I couldn't really tell apart what it contained and "sansei" (mountain vegetables?). My apologies in advance for any misspelling but nonetheless it was worth all the way. My advice: for all miso lovers, get the miso infused side dish! I forgot the name but the photos speaks for itself!! Yummy!!!

Edible, but I do not understand why people are hyped about nagoya miso. I had miso udon with chicken and white leek skewers. Edible, nothing special. Way too salty. Ordered extra noodle and large portiin rice. However, there is no way I received a large portion. I would not recommend.

Salty but the chicken meat was nice and tender. Love the vibe going in and inside the restaurant. Had chicken skewer with green onion and lemon on the side which was a nice blend between salty and sour. The udon wasn't fully cooked so that's a minus, I would recommend advising the waiter on how cooked you want the udon to be while ordering. Also pricey.

They are famous for their pot noodles with different meat. I ordered the one with local chicken( nagoya cochin). I can't tell if it was just al dente or not cooked properly. Either way it's not my cup of tea. The skewer on the other hand was excellent, and the salad was good but what I make at home is probably better.

Sorry Nagoya! I don’t like this specialty udon in your city. 🥲 I think the udon was not good as it was so hard like it was not cooked. And the miso was sooo salty. I couldn’t stand it. It was so expensive. I think I can have better meals with this money.

super yummy food with several (even pork free ) choices. The miso gives a suprising twist to the chewy udon noodles. Very good combination. Moreso a very kind and super aytentive staff. We git many green tea refills without having to ask for it.
