I feel like we found a hidden treasure! Maybe people are searching for authentic Okinawan food, but I have to say that the Ishigaki beef steak was so tender and flavorful. The house made onion dipping sauce was incredible and enhanced the flavor. My husband shared a bite with me. He also had the shrimp mac and cheese. It was really good too. We shared a salad that had sautéed bacon and mushrooms on it. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was so good. I also had the Shrimp Ajillo. Very flavorful, I mopped up the butter sauce with the slices of baguette that came with it.

For dessert we shared the special of the day, which was a flourless chocolate cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. We also shared the apple chimichanga. I wish American cuisine was light on the sugar as well. The apples were the stars of the dessert.

I wish we had eaten here sooner, instead of at the end of our stay. We had eaten at a different steakhouse, and it was reasonably good, but the steak here was amazing!

I read the reviews and decided to try the full rack of baby back ribs with the bourbon bbq sauce. You could also choose South Carolina mustard sauce or a chili cayenne sauce that had a lil kick to it. It came with crispy fries (ranch dipping sauce) and a side of pickled onions that were strangely addictive, sour and crunchy. ちょっと酸っぱいandしゃきしゃき. I also enjoyed a lemonade with my meal. The owner was very kind and checked in on me multiple times. He provided extra bbq sauce upon request and gave me the spicy one to try as well. My wife and I went around 19:30 on March 11th. The chicken wings and BBQ ribs were both way above our expectations (in fact, they were excellent).

Even though the food was great, the highlight for us was the service. The waitress helping us (by the window) with a ponytail was really amazing, by far providing the best service experience Ive had at restaurants in the last year. She was very natural in conversations and very helpful with helping us order food, getting us extra water etc.
