My wife found this restaurant via Google reviews and wanted to eat their so we reconned the restaurant during the day to make a "Must Needed" reservation. The place is open from 7pm - 3am. This is an elegant restaurant and if you come in flip-flops, cargo shorts and a ratty t-shirt you will be served but you will feel awkward sitting there. Where some long pants, a pair of sneakers and a nice t-shirt or golf shirt and you will fit in.

Now to the food! When we sat down we were offered a menu with drinks on the left and Japanese writing on the right. We explained we don't drink alcohol and ordered to refreshing seltzer's with lemon. After about 10 min the waiter came over and asked us if we were going to eat 😳 We said yes and he said the menu was the Japanese writing on the right side of the drink menu (there is no English menu) so bring your phone with Google Translate. The menu is small offering a hand full of appetizers, then a few pasta dishes and then a few main courses. We were told that the main courses would take one hour to cook because they start from scratch on all dishes.

We ordered two appetizers, split a pasta dish and ordered two main courses. For appetizers we started with the Burrata cheese, Spanish Prosciutto, Mango dish. The Burrata cheese was as fresh and gooey on par with the best in the world. The Spanish Prosciutto was equally as good as the best that we tasted on the Canary Islands of Spain and the Mango was soft and sweet. Our next appetizer was the Scallops & Avocado. The scallops were raw, sliced very thin and extremely fresh. The avocado and scallop slices were dusted lightly with fresh wasabi and finished with freshly squeezed lime juice. These are not to be missed.

The next dish while our main course was being prepared was the pasta dish which we were recommended to split. We ordered the Nomi sweet potato Gnocchi with Gorgonzola cream sauce and it was to die for. The shared portion was packed with intricate flavors beyond the visual appearance.

It was time to rest while our main courses were still being prepared, so the owner of the restaurant invited us outside to his private garden in the back of the restaurant. As fate would have it we were dining that night as his 8 year old Gajumarau tree, a member of the Ficus family, was in full bloom which only happens for one night only, once a year. The flowers were so beautiful that our pictures do not truly show the magnificent blooms.

We were invited back inside by the owner for our main courses. I ordered the Duck and my wife ordered the Pork loin. The presentation of both main courses were beyond perfect. The care and diligent craft that went in the preparation of each dish shined through as both dishes were a gastronomical delight! Both dishes came with a 3 hour baked onion, tender and sweet. The pork dish came with, what is quite arguably, the best peanut glazed tofu we have ever had.; layered with deep complexity. the pork also came with a scoop of bitter melon, which is an acquired taste for most people but it does cleanse the pallet in its own special way. The duck had a passion fruit sauce that was delicious served with a petite side of greens with a vinaigrette dressing and the baked onion. Both main dishes were generous portions and after we finished we were extremely content. The entire dinner cost a dot over $100 and we ate and were served like royalty. This restaurant is beyond a two thumbs up Home Run . . . It's...

The casual relaxing atmosphere and music already made me feel immediately welcome but then the staff came and made us feel like we've been best friends for ever. They were amazingly friendly and recommended paired dishes and most popular foods when ordering.

Every single dish was amazing but the highlights by far were the cold Capellini Oyster Pasta, which was an experience in itself; even though you're eating cold pasta noodles it feels like you are eating the freshest oyster you could buy.

Then the Truffle Sauce Meat Fillet was the best way I could think to end a meal. The onion was 3 hour roasted and naturally sweet, the herb was fresh locally picked, and the meat absolutely melted in your mouth with flavors expanding everytime you chewed. Absolutely wonderful staff, experience, and food at a completely affordable price.

Will for sure come back every...

Absolutely amazing experience, the chef was super sweet in explaining and made the most delicious plates I’ve ever had ! The waiter and service were equally splendid, I had an amazing time here. If you are coming to this restaurant always make sure to have a translator Incase you cannot communicate in Japanese it’s always helpful to do so for yourself and those around you ! This is above all more than 5 stars ! Thank you for your service and I hope to come...

One of the best services I ever experienced. The food was phenomenal, and this is coming from an European. Just try whatever speaks to you, you can’t go wrong with anything. Enjoy this hidden gem in Naha.
