I really enjoyed the vegan tantanmen. It was rich, flavorful, and definitely a standout. We also ordered the vegan tomato ramen and the vegan ramen, both of which were comforting and tasty. For the kids, we got pasta with a small serving of popcorn as an appetizer, and my older son had fries with an iced chai latte. I treated myself to the vegan chocolate tart cake, which was so delicious I wish I had ordered more to take home.

As someone who usually can’t finish a full meal, I ended up eating more than I normally would because they don’t offer takeout boxes. That’s just how they run their place, and I completely understand and respect that. In the future, I’ll bring my own container, which I’d recommend for anyone who tends to have leftovers especially if you’re dining with kids.

When we arrived, the place was empty except for one staff member, but it gradually filled up. The restaurant is cozy and seems to seat around three groups of four people comfortably. There’s a kids room that helped a lot since our toddler stayed entertained there for a bit. It’s definitely kid-friendly, but adults also use the space. Some were playing Connect 4 while waiting for their food, so I eventually took my son out when it got crowded.

Service was quick since we were the first ones there, but I did notice a couple who arrived later waited a bit while the staff member focused on our table. It’s a one man operation, and he seemed understandably stressed as the place got busier. His tone might come off a little curt, but it just seemed like he was under pressure, not intentionally rude.

The atmosphere is very calm. Everyone spoke quietly, and the space had a peaceful, relaxed vibe. I loved the design and cozy setup. It’s yen only for payment, so we took a quick walk to the nearby 7-Eleven to withdraw cash.

Overall, it’s a chill and charming little spot. Just be mindful that it’s a small, solo-run place. I’d...

Cozy cafe with extensive drink menu and also a vegan food menu. I ordered a hot golden latte w/ soy milk which was really calming as it’s free of caffeine. After hanging out for a couple hours, I ordered vegan ramen which was delicious. It was the perfect level of spice for me but if you’re not into that, maybe ask for less spice beforehand. There’s lots of books to read, music being played on nice speakers, and overall a relaxed atmosphere. The only thing that was lacking was enthusiasm and warmth from the owner (I believe). Could’ve just been an off day but really didn’t feel fully welcome. If you’re looking for plant-based options though, this place has got...

What a unique find in Okinawa! Not many vegan places which have a good variety of ramen, udon and rice dishes. Antique-style decor gives a retro feel and the background music is soothing with a light jazzy touch. Seating is very limited to 4 tables.

Vegan tantan ramen is absolutely a must to order. The broth is rich with crunchy bits and the ramen did not taste factory-made. Curry udon is not very outatanding and has a hint of Indian spices. Saba teriyaki is average.

The drinks are a good complement, especially the light Java tea and...
