Wonderful gem of a restaurant that would be worthwhile in a major city, all the more so in this small Onsen town! The elderly couple who run the place are sweet, sincere, and attentive. The sushi master's sushi is delicious - fresh fish and generous slices and tasteful rice. His style is charming and homey, while showing considerable skill and experience. Now no trip to Shima Onsen will be complete without a meal here. You can order a set or by the piece. Super cute little sushi place, we parked a little further along the road and walked over.

The old couple were really nice and we managed to order set A and Set C using previous Google review pictures. We were lucky to get a little table as the place quickly filled up as we waited for our food.

If go to Shima Onsen without visit Ichiriki sushi is a miss. Small restaurant with husband and wife, nice and relaxing place to enjoy sushi. Orders are easy with A,B,C sets, or pick your own sushi.
