Gyoza Ohsho — Restaurant in Nara

This restaurant serves a wide variety of cheap dishes that are served quickly. The quality of each dish varies, so it is a matter of personal preference and trial and error with what to eat but you generally get what you pay for.

The gyoza are good and I particularly enjoy the kimchi fried rice and cabbage with miso sauce (pictured).

You can eat a lot and pay very little, so I often leave here feeling very full and satisfied.

You can also order food and take it away with you. There is often a queue at peak times but there is space to wait inside with very cool air...
