My husband and I were so glad we found this place during our stay in Nara!! The chef is a delightful gentleman: it is clear he loves cooking, and he made us feel very welcome. The meal was amazing: it was the best dinner we’ve had in a year. We had the wagyu cutlets and hamburger, which came with a delicious salad. We also had the minestrone soup, which was very flavorful, and we had sherbet and a mini flan for dessert. The wagyu beef was SO tender— it literally melted in my mouth. The sherbet was the best I’ve ever had— I think it was orange flavored. Very tangy and refreshing. I recommend this restaurant VERY much. Eat here if you want a great time and a perfect meal! The prices were also very reasonable, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. 5/5 stars! We are only in Nara for 3 days, but I wish we were staying longer so we could eat here...
Read moreAccidentally stumbled upon this restaurant while being lost wandering Nara (I am a tourist visiting Japan). Upon entering, the chef greeted us very happily and eagerly. He was incredibly sweet, friendly, and worked diligently to serve us food.
The food itself was incredible. Every course served was so delicate but full of flavour. My partner ordered the waygu burger, and I ordered the beef curry. The beef was so tender, it melted in my mouth! The curry was dense but not overwhelming, it was a perfect blend.
I think the small portions for the course dishes are perfect considering how much you eat all together. 10/10 experience. This was the best service we have encountered thus far and we are so humbled we got to stop by. We will be making note to visit again...
