Leather Tramp Kitchen — Restaurant in Niigata

Best burger I've had in Japan yet and staff was so nice! Really good shakes made with fresh fruit. My friends and I are mostly fluent in Japanese but they offered us an English menu since we took a few minutes to read the regular menu! I'll be back to try the bagel sandwich & fresh coffee. If you're at Niigata station, take the extra 5 minutes to travel up the street to this place. One step at the entrance but accessible if you're getting takeout or eating at the little bar on the 1st floor--most seating is up a small flight of stairs. Great name too btw, but not a leather bar...

This man and his restaurant is a blessing from the heavens! These are some damn good burgers and they deserve recognition. It's more on the artisanal side with the breadier bun and freshest of the fresh ingredients. The milkshake I got was simply too good to exist, topped with fresh whipped cream, fresh raspberries and a sprig of mint. They really pay attention to quality, detail and execution here. Gotta give a shout out to these burger wizards. They were so nice, we had to go twice. First up was that double cheeseburger. Real thick and juicy, that gravy surprised me, and made me want it on everything (maybe fries?), but those homemade buns are tops. Next up, that double pork burger with teriyaki, so delicious. Nice vibe in here, quick and friendly service. Highly recommend, don't even hesitate, just go make your belly happy....
