I wanted soba, but they only had udon that day, so I ordered the udon with yuba set. The udon didn't look like much, but they were very slurpable, the tsuyu, however, was too strong and salty. The yuba with the sansai (mountain vegetables) was delicious; sweet, salty, soft, crunchy, I loved it! For dessert, I had the buckwheat dumplings with anko and a matcha set, which ended the meal nicely. Portions seem small, but I was left feeling very full and satisfied afterwards. Read moreAmazing place! We tried the Soba with fried Tofu Skin and the macha cake. Both dishes didn’t only look amazing, they were also really delicious. The Soba is a traditional dish from Nikko and the macha cake was the best dessert we had in Japan 🤩 Also the restaurant is managed by an elderly woman and man, who were so kind and nice (I think they are a couple). 10/10 recommend.
