Normally I like to stick to local food when I am travelling, but since I share the same name as the restaurant (Linne), and the reviews looked good, we decided to check it out. And I am glad we did!
Inside we were greeted by the owner, who was one of the kindest man I have ever met. He was also kind enough to take a picture with me and the stone oven as my name is on it, it truly made my day! You could really tell he enjoyed his work. It showed in his cooking as well. We got served made-to-order stone oven baked pizzas, that had a delishious crust and toppings, even rivalling some of the pizza's I've had in Italy before. We chose the bacon mushroom pizza and the sardines with shiso and leek pizza. Our favourite was the bacon mushroom one. The only remark I have is that I wish the sardines pizza had a little bit more shiso and leek on top of it.
Lastly, the meal was really affordable as well. During weekdays there is a lunch special, where you can order any pizza and you get a salad and drink of choice with it for only 1200 yen! I highly recommend giving this...
Read moreDirectly across the street from the Tamazowa Imperial Park. Two years later and I'm happy to say the pizza is still delicious, and the owner is still cheerful. Even if you have ti take a cab to get hete, its worth the price. Chrck the hours, and call to confirm -I think they are open Thursdat through Monday. 《Previous review》I returned to Pizza Linne this week and I'm happy to say that it is still a really great place to go. He has a summer vegetable pizza now that is very tasty. It's covered with thinly sliced onions zucchini red and yellow peppers and more.
Individual pizzas made in the wood fired brick oven make it fun for the table to try two or more. Great '50's American tunes and décor make it trendy. Friendly owner who does everything makes it cozy, but makes for a bit slower service. Watch him make and bake your pie, then serve it to you.
Lunch deals include drink and dessert. Call for...
Read moreGreat little family-run pizza place with a real wood-fired oven that you can view from your table. Pizzas are simple and delicious - I personally loved the bacon mushroom pizza. They run different lunch specials for weekdays vs. weekend, and they close for a few hours between lunch and dinner. They are one of the few places actually open for dinner - highly recommend checking them out if you are...
