A Japanese restaurant in Okayama. It's run by a single person, so if you're prepared for a slightly slower pace, this is the best so far.
I also visited Sakaya Honten, but I didn't feel they had the skills, so I visited on the same day.
The owner was really busy while serving the food.
I ordered cream croquettes, mantis shrimp shumai, and chawanmushi with matsutake mushrooms, all of which were a little time-consuming, but I didn't have to wait long to get them.
First of all, the side dishes were delicious. I didn't know what the ingredients were in the yellow chives and matsutake mushrooms with stones in the salad. It started to get delicious.
The cream in the croquettes was carefully prepared and you could tell it was smooth. Even difficult ingredients like mantis shrimp were well-seasoned, and the matsutake mushroom chawanmushi had a good broth that went well with sake.
It's a little far from the station and in a completely residential area, but it's a restaurant I'd definitely like to visit again.
