A JapanEat® recommendation, this is a coffee shop sporting a unique Okayama version of Ebi Rice (Shrimp Rice). The meal came very quickly once ordered, and the entire flavor profile is incredibly unique. The sauce is a mix of curry powder, secret spices, squid ink, ketchup, and caramel. This leads to an incredibly complex and nuanced bite. It has a little bit of everything that makes it a very memorable dish and a very solid unique taste. Like all Okayama specialty meals, they add cooked peas to the meal, so don’t be a baby and eat your dang vegetables!
The Setouchi Lemonade is excellent--it is incredibly tart and lemony, with a delectable sweet afterbite. A much enjoyed palate cleanser and fantastic lemonade.
