Ryukyu Kominka Yakiniku Ryugu — Restaurant in Onna

There were a lot of yakiniku places around, many that needed reservations. We didn’t have a reservation, but managed to snag a spot here. Food was good, kinda expensive for what you get, but you’re in a major tourist zone so that’s expected. The wait staff were maybe a little short handed, you could see them rushing, but they still tried their best to accommodate. When I asked for suggestions for awamori, and the waitress didn’t have an answer, another near the kitchen just shouted a few suggestions while rushing to prep for another table. We went on a Saturday at 7:30 PM, The waiting time was 30 minutes, so we signed the list and waited. The menu is on a QR code, so bring your phone, menu available in English. Lovely little wagyu beef place near the hotels. The environment was family friendly and chilled, without the need for the loud live music in nearby restaurants. The staff were extremely friendly.
