Être A L'aise — Restaurant in Osaka

We always come here when we stay in Osaka. Good meals and cheap. They don't have English menu and their chef speaks French but English. So it's better to take someone who understands Japanese or French.

This restaurant is near from Tanimachi 6 cho-me subway station. Or if you don't mind, you can walk from Tamatsukuri or Matsuyamachi station (10 to 15 mins walk).

Last night, 4 of us shared a bottle of red wine, olives and pickles, a roasted duck salad, baked Camembert cheese with baguettes, a grilled red snapper, a roasted lamb, and dessert plates. And guess what? It was just ¥15,000!!!

We discovered this little gem in the Guide Michelin and spent an amazing evening there. The food was absolutely fantastic and given the sheer number of both very tasty and beautifully presented courses, the price was more than fair! However, what really sets this Restaurant apart from any other Restaurant we visited in Japan was the hospitality, not at all because we had a lot of bad experiences so far but because the friendlyness and dedication of the owner couple was simply on a different level. ひと目見たら感じるマダム、シェフの優しさ そのまま料理にも現れています。 それでいてコースを通して最後まで飽きさせない工夫がされたメリハリのあるお料理 ソムリエのマダムが合わせるワインペアリングもシェフの料理を全て知り尽くしているからこその絶妙な合わせ方、ご夫婦だからこそ実現できるバランス。 すごく良い時間を過ごせました。
