An unforgettable omakase experience from start to finish. Every dish was a masterpiece — from the delicate appetizers to the perfectly crafted nigiri, each bite showcased the chef’s precision, creativity, and deep respect for the ingredients. The atmosphere was intimate and calming, and being seated at the counter gave a personal, almost meditative feel to the entire meal. The service was impeccable, with warm and knowledgeable staff who guided us through each course. Sushi Haku truly deserves every bit of its Michelin recognition. A must-visit in Osaka for any sushi lover finish. Sushi Haku is a complete hidden gem that we discovered thanks to a recommendation from a local Japanese resident. It's tucked away on a non-descript street off the main commercial areas, which adds to its mystique and charm. The chef has an impressive 35 years of experience in the industry, and it truly shows in the incredible array of dishes they serve, from marinated to char-grilled to boiled dishes.

When it comes to sushi, they offer a variety of unique fish and shellfish, such as Tairagi, that you don't commonly find elsewhere. And everything is wonderfully fresh and seasoned to perfection. If you're a genuine sushi lover, you would appreciate the differentiating selection of fish here.

Last but not least, the restaurant has a refreshingly contemporary feel in its design, with a gorgeous ceramic collection on the second floor. We also enjoyed the beautiful tableware used throughout the meal. Overall, it was an amazing experience and one of the best meals we've...

Let me start by saying—I’ve traveled across Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Hokkaido, and Fukuoka, visiting some of the finest sushi spots, including Michelin-starred restaurants. But out of all of them, Sushi Haku in Osaka left an unforgettable mark.

What truly sets this place apart? The rice. It was exceptionally balanced, enhancing the natural flavors of the fish in a way that was simply breathtaking. The texture, seasoning, and temperature were flawless, creating the perfect foundation for each piece of sushi.

Beyond the food, the atmosphere was just as memorable. The staff was incredibly friendly and engaging, making the entire evening feel warm and welcoming. Many of them spoke English, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

If you’re visiting Osaka, make it a priority to dine at Sushi Haku. It’s a place that doesn’t just serve sushi—it delivers an experience that stays with you long after the...
