We chanced into this cafe because we were too early for our check-in at the adjacent Apartment LESPEDEZA. My wife and I both ordered a coffee and the rest was history. We built a wonderful relationship with the owner couple Takotoshi and Kimie who have been running this place for 45 years. The deco is very retro and yet not kich at all. Some of the memorabilia are the old toys of their children who by now are grown up adults. And we even spoke to her daughter Ozaki on the phone to discuss how to share the photo taken with her parents. The last day we discovered that some of the stunning pictures framed and hung on the walls were taken by Takotoshi san himself who is an accomplished photographer. Needless to mention, we ate some of their dishes and drank their coffee, simply great taste and very good value for the money. We left Osaka with fond memories and can only recommend this place...
