New National Onsen – Open Until 1:00 AM
My first experience at New National Onsen was truly amazing. The facility features a cold pool, a warm pool, and a special health-focused pool. After spending about 30 minutes in the sento area, I felt completely refreshed and relaxed.
As a first-timer, I really appreciated how kind and helpful everyone was. Another guest kindly guided me through the process, and the owner was very welcoming. He even gave me permission to take photos after the place had closed, ensuring no one’s privacy was compromised.
The onsen is well-maintained, and fully equipped with everything you need: a cleansing area, a drying room, a powder table, and a healthy pool. The owner also sells essentials like shampoo and body wash, and you need to bring your own towel. Lockers are available for storing your belongings securely.
After your bath, you can enjoy drinks or ice cream, both sold on-site. The price is very reasonable for the neighborhood, making it a fantastic value.
Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax...
Read moreSUPER LOVELY PLACE!!! Price is pretty fair and standard, and you can rent towels or buy small soap, shampoo and conditioner bottles if needed. There is a hot bath, electric bath, and a bath that seems to change every few days/week. When we went initially, it was green, then a few days later, it was deep pink. I can only guess what it was, but loved it either way. There is also a cold bath and sauna. The atmosphere of the place is what sold me, as it was very communal and the ladies there were very chatty, even some chatting with us despite being unable to speak Japanese. There is also a full body dryer and massage chairs that you can pay 20Y to use. The hospitality of the owners was top notch. During our trip, I returned 3 times, while my friends came a few more times when I wasn't able to. On our last day, they treated us to a bottle of milk each. So unexpected and incredibly kind of them! Made an unforgettable experience that has me wanting...
Read moreThe entrance fee (600 JPY) doesn't include shampoo and soap. You need to bring them or pay separately. Overall, this is a traditional Sento with a basic set of functions. The cold water bath only accommodates one person, and instead of a soft sauna, there is a high-temperature Turkish Hamam that works on...
