The queue was pretty slow moving, but step into the shop and you'll understand why. A cozy little shop with about 8 counter-only seats, the 3 staff work pretty fast in the narrow space to dish out bows of interesting ramen.
My shoyu ramen came with a generous serving of meat and the broth was just the right saltiness. The fried/dried enoki mushrooms added an additional depth to the broth.
The dumpling was pretty different from the Shanghai and Singapore dumplings I've had so far. It was shaped flat and was seasoned with ginger.

The egg was boiled to perfection… with a soft yoke. I’ve tried Ramen in Tokyo and Kyoto each from highly rated places and this was the best egg I’ve tasted! The broth was also tasty and flavourful. It is a very cosy little place with maybe 12 seats seated at the kitchen counter. The atmosphere is also very charming and feels less touristy with locals having their evening dinner. The owner and chef also had a nice chat to us adding a personal feeling to eating here. Really glad we...
Read moreI walked past this ramen shop and decided to give it a go and what a fantastic surprise. Hands down one of the best ramen I've ever had - and a good sign is the fact they have a very small nenu with like 3 ramen. I had the special soy sauce the first time and was amazed by the clean flavours and taste. Couldn't help it and went again the following day and had the shio ramen. Even better than the first time, so flavourful and cooked to perfection. Special mention to the two amazing hosts, Kazuki-san and his young cook Yusuke-san, very friendly and great to chat...
