Went here for its Ghibli concept, ordered ramen and kakigori (shaved ice)

The location itself can be easily spotted since it displayed a big banner. It was pretty quiet when we went there so there was no queue. For a ramen, it is quite expensive for locals because the price goes to 1000JPY. For the taste, we chose fish broth so it tastes quite light and clear. The noodles is good and the portion is satisfying. Although you can share it with your friends.

I just doubt that the protein used is halal. So if you worry about halal non-halal, I suggested you not to order its ramen.

However I love the No-Face kakigori which whopping big. You can even share it with 3-4 person. It has gold garnish and the kaonashi face tastes like it’s made from a white chocolate. It also has some kind of red bean paste inside. It is a recommended dish. The owner is so friendly by putting all the ghibli things for us.

Actual food review: Fish/Dashi base broth ramen with rendered beef fat was amazing. Noodles great texture. For those of you who aren’t a fan of the traditional milky tonkatsu style broth and prefer something just as umami but clear, this is an awesome choice. I also got one of the red, thick, sweet/sour based noodle dishes that I saw many of the locals eat. It honestly tasted much more like a Chinese noodle dish. Thick amazing noodles living in a thick spicy broth with intestines and pork belly (although mainly noodles not much meat). Again - not a typical...

GHIBLI FOOD AND SHAVED ICE ONLY AVAILABLE AFTER 1 PM.

However, since my table arrived and started ordering our food around 12:30 p.m., the shop owners kindly allowed us to order the shaved ice in advance, since we were going to be sitting there in the restaurant by the time the clock hit 1 PM anyway. I am eternally greatful since the shaved ice was the main reason I came to the restaurant.

Both the food and the shaved ice were delicious! I was super surprised.

Usually themed restaurant food does not taste good, but this restaurant clearly puts effort into their food. Also, they make the food super fast! Me and my friends all got different things and only waited about 5 minutes for the food...
