Authentic Wakayama sushi branch on the 12th floor of the Hankyu Umeda Department Store by the up escalator ramp. Super great fish and lots of other goodies if you would rather not try sashimi. This place features cuisine from Wakayama which is a coastal community about an hour south of Osaka. If you can't go there, come here. A bit of a line to get in but it moves quickly, especially if you don't mind sitting at the counter. Ask or point to the counter to get seated. You get a hot towel and cup of matcha as you look over the menu. The sushi chef (in my case an older lady) will appear in front of you in a moment and await your request. Since my Japanese was lacking, I pointed to the menu item, she nodded and went to work preparing my order. Wow, very tasty and quick. Continue your orders until you can eat no more. Maybe order a bowl of soup to round you out. Take the tally of what you ordered and walk over to the cashier...

Torched Engawa (fin of flounder) was great as well, recommended. If you like salmon they also have a variety flavour of raw and aburi (torched) salmon. White fishes may be less popular among visitors, but if you like white as well, they have Aji, Sardine, Mackerel etc.
