Just stayed for 5 nights in November 2024.
The location is super great, next to the underground passage straight to the metro and JR stations. There are hundreds of various restaurants, cafe, shops, and convenient stores nearby. If you travel from/to the KIX international airport by the Airport bus, it's just 10 minutes walk from the pick-up/drop-off points.
The hotel is close to the main street where you can hear some noises at night (ambulances, motorbikes, car races, etc.), but it's not the hotel's fault at all.
Room is very large and clean with extremely remarkable room services.
You can deposit your lugguage before check-in and after check-out to enjoy Osaka all days.
The price is farely reasonable, however, you need to book the room 4 months in advance to get the cheaper price.
One thing that can be improved is the breakfast menu as we only stayed at this hotel the whole trip, the food menu looks 90% the same every day while its taste is just okay, not bad or super delicious.
Overall impression is great! worth to stay. Will be back here again when we have a trip to...
Read moreI had a decent stay at this hotel. The room was a bit dated but still clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean as well, though the bidet looked somewhat dirty, likely from years of use.
The staff weren’t exactly friendly, but they were professional and efficient. One of the staff members could speak Mandarin, which was helpful.
The hotel’s location is very convenient, as it’s directly connected to Osaka-Umeda Station through the underground (Exit 7-75 of Whity Umeda - East Mall as pictured). However, navigating the underground passages can be quite confusing, and Google Maps doesn’t work well for underground navigation.
The area around the hotel is great, with plenty of restaurants, shopping options, and even a Pokémon Center nearby.
Overall, while the hotel isn’t the most modern, it’s a convenient and comfortable choice if you want easy access to Osaka Station for traveling to...
Read moreI recently contacted this hotel to confirm my booking, but the experience was frustrating from the start. The person who answered the call had a very hard time understanding basic English, and despite several attempts, I couldn’t get the information I needed.
Upon arrival, the check-in experience was even more disappointing. A young, heavyset Japanese man at the front desk was extremely unwelcoming. There was no greeting, no smile—just a cold, dismissive attitude. His tone was irritating and lacked even the most basic customer service etiquette. For someone in a front desk role, it's essential to have basic English communication skills and know how to treat guests with respect.
This interaction left a very negative first impression, and I honestly expected much better from a hotel staff. I hope the management addresses this and provides proper training to ensure future guests are...
