HUB Abeno Q's Mall — Restaurant in Osaka

Although the decor is typical English pub Style and therefore the ambience or atmosphere is also quite typical of a British pub, the staff seem to act as though it is imperative that any and all customers sit at a table. No standing at the bar and nobody was standing anywhere else in venue, all seated.

I have seen them refusing entry to people due to there not being seats available, which suggests they do not consider standing and drinking to be acceptable, which to me is totally losing the point of an English pub. I've seen this kind of thing happening in English-style pubs in Tokyo before but this is a first for me in Osaka.

It’s the Hub!!! This location is fantastic - it has a large patio, open floor plan and lots of windows (a nice view of Tennoji) This Hub has a fun atmosphere and great music 🎶 As usual, happy out from 4pm to 7pm, a large drink menu and good bar food. Definitely one of the nicer hubs, situated within the mall, so it’s surroundings are clean. It also tends to attract less weirdos than other hubs tend to, which is always a bonus.
