Samugyopusaru OKOGE Tennojiten Korean Restaurant — Restaurant in Osaka

I came from the US and this was certainly not the Korean Food I am used to. The service and atmosphere was not as high as I expected from the reviews, probably because we did not have a reservation and came during a pretty busy time.

We waited a long time getting our food and the QR code website took a long time to load because there's no wifi and we are using foreign cellular data. There is no english or chinese menu so we're just using Google Translate.

In the Korean food I am used to, they give out a minimum of 4 toppings but are only given fried chips and yams. There was also no yellow mustard or anything other than noodles and limes in the Nyeongmeon we ordered.

You also have to order drinks during lunch hours which are not included in your order so I am pretty bummed out.

Overall the taste is nice and not sour, but I was left dissatisfied and craving for more but does not want the other foods here. Despite being next to Tennoji Station, I will not recommend this place for foreigners or people hopping onto...

Menu was a little difficult to navigate on the app for non Japanese. The QR card system used for ordering and paying was also only written in Japanese which was surprising for the area. It would be easy to add English to the QR codes and make it more comfortable for international customers. For example I didn’t know how to get the check, because the QR code instructions were only in Japanese.

I’m not sure for the Japanese ordering site but for the English site, I wish each dish listed the ingredients that came with it. Beef vs Pork etc. which sides/sauces are included in the item.

Staff were very helpful with my questions but it was confusing at first. We were asked to go upstairs to our table but no one was there to greet or direct us when we arrived on the second floor so initially we went to the wrong table.

I wanted to try this place as I'm Korean and love Korean food. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to try the Korean BBQ menu as there is a minimum of 2 people required and I came by myself, but I got the bibimbap and it was high quality. The makgeolli was good too.
