As a person who have eaten at many Nepali restaurant and have a lot of Nepali, Indian friends, i think i have a bit of knowledge and i will say what is true. First, the thing i like about this restaurant is the owner. He was so humble and cute. There was problem about the service. Second, i have to say the food was not as good as i expected. The curry was sour and so was the cheese nan. I didnt order any sour nan and curry. The biryani was plain. The only flavor I could taste was spicy. The rice was a bit raw and tough. The worst one was the chili chicken. In the menu they had the picture of it with bell pepper, onion, some vegetables and chicken. At other restaurants I got the same thing too. But what we got in this restaurant was chicken and onion ONLY?! When i saw the dish i was so disappointed. If the customer have their first time here, there will be no problem with them. But with a person who love Indian Nepali food like me, it was a huge disappointment. These comments are for the restaurant to improve and become better, its not for ruining the restaurant business. I know that this restaurant has changed the owner many times because I have visited here several times in the time I lived here. Sorry the owner for writing these negative comments about...
Read moreMe and my family had never eaten at a Nepali Restaurant before and thought we'd give it a go. I am not a big fan of Indian food (the only part I like is the Nan) so I thought I would just order a Nan but after a closer look at the Menu I found the Kids Set (in the Dinner Sets (only available from 17-21 pm) ). It is comprised of a normal Nan which was slightly sweet and really yummy (and big) a small amount of French fries some rice and a small Curry. Additionally you get a drink of your choice and a scoop of ice cream for desert and a small salad as an Entree. In total it cost 605 yen which in my opinion is a steal espacially considering only the Nan and the drink (I had a Coke) cost 630 yen. So if you don't really like Indian food an Curry I can really recommend this Set. The rest of my family also really enjoyed their food. Overall a great restaurant with great staff. (They gave one of my family members a free scoop of ice cream since she was the only with no Set). I highly recommend...
Read moreThis intimate family restaurant serves a variety of tasty curries and tandoori chicken and other dishes. We brought a large party with two rambunctious children, and the staff people were cheerful and accommodating. We adults were drinking the delicious Nepali beer, and the kids got mango lashis, which were made fresh for us. The cheese nan is rich and tasty, but my favorite was the garlic nan that I used to sop up my two yummy curries. We were so full that we took leftover samosas, nan, and mixed tandoori home for the next...
