Italian Pisolino — Restaurant in Osaka

Chanced upon this place while craving for pasta, I am blown away by the quality of food here. The ingredients are fresh, pasta cooked perfectly, dishes are all well-seasoned — well enough to bring out the taste and fragrance of each ingredient.

The restaurant is a cosy family-run shop, it’s obvious they take great pride in their food. The service is superb too: plates are changed after every dish, wines are well-picked even though they are house-pours, (and this especially) they split the pasta for us into two plates because they knew we were sharing.

Foreigners aren't welcome here. At least I wasn't. Not sure if it was because I walked in wearing shorts and a t shirt but the lady running the place said I had to have a reservation. No where was it indicated I had to have a reservation. It was just me and there was an open spot at the bar. If the owners of this place ever come to America I hope they're treated with the same hospitality as I was.
