MAZE CAFE CASTLE — Restaurant in Osaka

Visited from Canada and not only this place was incredibly tasty and food was served beautifully, we’ve had THE BEST experience from the employee who’s name I unfortunately did not write down, but it was June 16, 2025. We went to a location of this restaurant that had a wait and a friendly employee had greeted us and explained that he can take us to the new location that was a little less busy if we wanted to go. We did and he DROVE US to the new location and even provided us menus while he took us there, we had a friendly chat and are very very grateful for the warm experience and I can’t stop sharing it with the friends in Canada. 非常感谢...

We visited this wonderful café recently and had an absolutely delightful time. The ambience was lovely — a cosy, friendly space. The food was delicious and the matcha was excellent — rich, authentic, and perfectly prepared.

What really impressed us was the service, which deserves a solid 10/10. When we arrived, we were directed to a sister location just a 5‑minute drive away because the main café had a very long queue. The staff picked us up and drove us over — such thoughtfulness and efficiency made our experience exceptional.

We were at the end of the queue at the Maze cafe in Shinsaibashi when the owner approached us and offered to take us here to the sister cafe near Osaka castle for free. The service was already amazing as such, and the staff at the cafe itself matched it. The smashed avocado dish was delicious, full of delicately chosen flavours.
