If you are in a female only group (or just one lady), don’t come here. Come here with a man in tow. If you are Chinese or look Chinese, think twice before coming here. This place is rife with misogyny and xenophobia. The angry man with glasses acts like he experienced castration at the hands of a female. All the cons of Japan can be found here. We (2 women) came without a reservation and they were not accepting any reservations. But the way the man with glasses relayed that was so rude and disrespectful. He obviously spoke English and yet he was a total w*nker about it. Honestly if a man was in our party, i strongly believe his attitude would have been completely different. From this interaction, it is safe to say that service is horrible and they need to learn some manners. When confronted with his attitude problem, he proceeded to do the typical ‘I don’t understand’ facade. Pretend amnesia. He knew what he was doing. We used Google Translate and I spoke a bit of Japanese and he didn’t seem to ‘understand’ Japanese either. There are so many pizza places around, this restaurant isn’t going to be around forever...esp with the attitude (misogynistic, racist and otherwise). What a narrow-minded,...

Fantastic dinner! Wonderful appetizers, great pizza, good wine. The place is always packed, however, so you should have a reservation, and the counter is very small. The number of chairs makes it feel kind of cramped. If you're someone who needs their space, you might want to think twice. The owner is not the most talkative or friendly person, so you will not experience the famous Japanese customer service, but I don't need that when the food is so good! And he was nice enough to wrap the leftovers for us to take home, which is important because you will probably order too much.

Cosy little Italian restaurant in Honjonishi. Fish of the day recommendation was good, just baked with salt and basil pesto so really taste the freshness. Pizza PROSCIUTTO e RUCOLA size good for two and the offering g of prosciutto was generous. By the time the Pasta reach us we are already pretty done, the spaghetti texture a bit too chewy...
