The place seems dated and provides a simple place to crash in for the night which was the purpose of the place anyways. Cleanliness wise we found a lot of dust on the table and moving a remote would cause the dust to fly around the room. The kitchen seems dated and only a few cups and spoons were provided. Toilet seems clean though. ||||They provide a flat screen tv and also enough socket points to charge all the devices. Hairdryer can be acquired for free from the reception.||They do provide a microwave if you need one in the room. Coin laundry and dryer is also available in the establishment.||||Pillows seems flat and doesn't provide enough head support. ||Only provided Twin beds although we were a couple and due to the lack of space it was difficult to push both beds together to form one single bed.||Space as usual was limited for any Japanese accommodation so you would need to perform some shifting here and there to be able to open up your suitcases.||||The place wasn't really easy to find as it looks like a regular housing apartment.||When we arrived no one was there to check us in although we did call the number provided at the check-in counter it took us about 20 minutes to be finally checked in.||Borrowing a wifi router required a deposit of 3000 yen. I am not sure there were any charges for the wifi as we already had our own wifi router.||||Although the delay in check-in the staff was friendly and helpful.||Breakfast is not provided and there is no restaurant here. There are vending machines for drinks right in front of the reception/check in counter.||||There is a family mart and 7-11 close by. Walking to the train station is a 10 minutes walk though. During the Chilly autumn months wouldn't be a problem but not during the hot summer season.||||Overall this place is good if you are not a fussy person and its just a regular bedroom you use to sleep for the night. There is no need for sharing of bathroom and living spaces thus it provides good privacy.||||The Rooms overall building just needs a little bit of makeover and it would surely make this...
Read moreThe pros...||We got a good price (special package for more than 6 days booking). The room condition is OK, bed is nice, we had a good sleep. Noise isolation in room is not that bad, my room is facing the main road / flyover, I'm a light sleeper but managed to sleep like a pig during the stay (Maybe because we have an activity packed holiday and were exhausted by the end of the day).||Wifi is "free", provided you request a router at frontdesk with ¥3000 returnable deposit, no configuration required, just plug and play (username & password written on the router)||The place is near to "Nakatsu Station", just around 500m { if you walk towards the right direction :) } I found that exit from entrance "1" is the most straight forward path.||Microwave is a plus point, but wiring is bad, cable will be dangling when in use, due to short cables.||||The cons...||Check-in was challenging. The staff was not at counter, and we were greeted by a signboard with a phone no :)||Tips...Write down the no and call it from the phone located at entrance, you might need to keep on calling (we called like more than 10 times before we saw the staff coming down with housekeeping tools and engaged on the phone). The number is a mobile phone no, and the reason we called but getting engaged is because the line is engaged with other guest, and he's doing housekeeping & frontdesk as well :)||The room is leaking when it rain. Do not place any important documents on the desk facing window.||We didn't use the stove, as there's a lack kitchenware, perhaps will need to request.||Careful of the water pipe in bathroom, the hot water pipe is not insulated.||There's no housekeeping during the stay, and if i'm not mistaken housekeeping is only once a week, or after guest move out. We actually have no problem with that...||||ps. The place is more like a rented apartment, so if you're expecting a hotel amenities & services, this might not be the a place for you. But, if you're just looking for a cheap place to sleep with private bathroom & OK location, then this is one of the...
Read moreWe got an uneasy feeling just by entering the hotel at first. Got very little information from receptionist about check out, amenities, etc.. The room itself looked old, very worn down (pieces of wallpaper was loose) and smelled weird like many reviews already stated. The windows where badly isolated so noise from the outside kept us awake without earplugs. Mold where stuck in the bathroom fan and there was no way to turn off the fan and bathroom light separately. Also there were not much kitchenware in the kitchenette, just some glasses and a tiny plate, no chopsticks or fork or anything. Lucky there was a Familymart nearby to save the day but very annoying to leave their guests up to this.||||The second and third night I felt very bad and started coughing a lot, probably from something in the room so we promptly checked out and found a better hotel. ||||The only good thing were the fact we got refund for the nights we did not stay when we checked out before 10 AM. But I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially if you have allergies or sensitive lungs. The mold is not good...
