Sodaisho — Restaurant in Osaka

This is probably one of the best ramen I've had. The very rich and flavorful broth is enhanced by the scallion oil and a delicious yuzu scent.

Bummer for me was only finding out that there's free self-served kimchee available at the back of the store which helps to spike appetite before the awesome bowl is presented to you. (You are of course welcome to get some afterwards too!)

Going there after 10pm (just before they close) on a rainy night, there were still 2 tables before me and more people waiting after I was done as well.

All in all, certainly was blown off with that lovely bowl of goodness I could only wish I could come...

First of all, I don't know why this is rated so low by so many people. This is easily among my top 3 salt (shio) and soy sauce (shoyu) ramen locations near Umeda. The broth stands out as particularly true to it's flavor (not watered down or too strong), and the shio ramen had surprisingly almost the perfect amount of salt flavor (as opposed to too strong). The meat was less than expected but the combination of condiments were perfect. The noodles were what you'd expect from a specialized ramen shop, but not particularly...

This place has a great local reputation, thats for sure. Long lines are seen every day of the week. Once you’re in, you get the Shoyu Ramen. You get the Full Set if you’re hungry, with chahan (fried rice) and gyoza.
