GOOD :
BAD :
Absolutely horrible checking in experience. Did not receive any codes or pins. Stood outside the entrance door in the cold with child and elderly trying to figure out what to do. Only after calling, an email with codes and pins was sent. (Why not send it earlier? Why not also put an instruction to call to receive codes and pins?) Strongly discourage anyone booking here due to my poor experience (the worst, actually, considering the high hospitality standard in Japan.)
To Bon: Don't thank me for leaving a review. I am trying to bring awareness to other tourists. And you are not doing your best. You are not improving in fact this is the third time I'm staying is the the worse. You are deproving to become unacceptable.
First, you tried to shirk responsibility. Never ever shirk responsibility and do a thorough check. Response from Bon "We have checked your booking provider that there is not any e-mail address or message chat that we can contact you.
While we do send their check-in code to all our guests a few days before arrival, unfortunately some booking websites sometimes fail to deliver messages successfully."
This is impossible Bon. You read out my email to send the pins and codes to me. I was shocked you have my email but did not send the info to me.
Then, you found out it's your mistake. But did nothing to remedy. You noticed I called and said in a way as if it's my responsibility to correct your mistake. Never ever take mistakes for granted. Response from Bon "We are sorry to hear that you didn’t receive our email on March 6. We understand that not having the check-in code upon arrival must have been frustrating. However, as we provided the code again as soon as you contacted us by phone, and you were able to check in right away, we are unable to offer any refund."
So, have I not called, you will not do anything and its on me for not fixing it? And now that I called you went "so I made a mistake, and it's alright. Too bad, nothing I will do for you except I'm sorry." Owning your mistakes and making amendments is...
Read moreWas really looking forward to staying here, however it was a big let down. It could have been the fact that Expo was on in Osaka so all hotels were expensive but compared to the other 5 hotels we stayed in while travelling Japan this one was by far the worst and not at all what was expected.
The check-in process was ok you have to use a computer downstairs and video call somebody. But it was very busy when we arrived in a tiny lobby and it was raining. We stayed up on the the 8th floor and found the noise from upstairs and neighbours very loud, even louder than the noise of the city.
The room was a very awkward layout, bathroom was fine, washer was fine, the bedroom had lots of storage space but it was almost impossible to get to. The kitchen was tiny and not very useful, the beds were very uncomfortable and the couch was broken, all of the furniture moved around on the floor so easily and had marked it very badly.
The room was very dirty, bedding and towels were clean but the floors and wall were dirty and there was dust everywhere and behind all of the furniture, I vacuumed up some of it myself as it was filthy. The air conditioner here was very old and didn't keep the temperature well it was either too hot or ice cold. Very hard to get any rest here.
The balcony was nice but didn't really offer spectacular views, it was nice having drying racks on the balcony to dry your clothes. The hotel is in a bit of an awkward spot with a lot of one-way and very narrow streets. We found if very hard to park our hire car here and I was very glad once we handed the car back, would not recommend for somebody with a car.
A positive note was the access to the train station and subway station were just a short walk away, as well as being close to the heart of the city shopping, bars etc. There were at least 3 convenience stores you could see from the front of the hotel which was a relief as there was only 1 vending machine in the lobby and it did not take the...
