Came here for lunch with my family and were first on the line. They sat us by the bar area at one end of the corner away from the main view. I don’t like corner seats and asked to move closer to the main area and we’re told ‘no’ in English. I was ready to leave but sucked up as my son was nice enough to change seat with me so I am not at the corner. For the whole duration of the lunch time the seats next to me ( where I wanted to seat ) were empty. You would think being first , you get to choose where you want to sit , apparently now here. ‘No’ , is what you will get! I assumed the person seating us is thinking on Tuesday , they will be full. Instead,Almost lost this family’s business. Why am I giving this place 5 stars? The head chef(I think) changed the vibe, speaks good English and took the time to explain how to order with the iPad like device. We ended up with 4 different lunch sets and each is simply amazing from presentation to tastiness . Additionally, we got miso cod and sashimi Abalone. These two dishes alone could add a six star to this place! Thanks to the head chief for making this lunch a memorable one and not a grumpy turn out!

I tried a variety of sushi, including tuna, salmon, uni and whale meat. I found the sushi to be cheap and delicious (not the best but for the price, this was worth it). Portions were also generous. The whale meat felt a bit exotic to me, but I ordered it just to have a taste of what it is like. The uni was average and not too flavourful. I also had the chawanmushi. The egg was silky smooth and nicely seasoned. Gingko nut and Unagi were added in it too. Worth a try. The restaurant also provided a free drink for every Google review. Hence, there might be some customers who did the Google reviews before they had a chance to try the food. They have the menu in English, Chinese and Korean. Some staff spoke English too.

DINERS BEWARE! For a 5* review, you get a complimentary drink, which explains all the high reviews this place gets. We got the nigiri for bluefin fatty tuna, scallop, uni, sweet shrimp, and medium fatty tuna. All were subpar. The uni had two pieces on it with one looking a bit worse for wear. Tasted fine, but the texture wasn't great. Considering you're sitting right at the fish tank, you'd think the quality would be fresher. For two people, it ran us $38CAD for 10 pieces of nigiri, which is crazy expensive considering we could get better for cheaper elsewhere. Take all the reviews here with a bottle or two of salt. It's not worth your money.

I had dinner here at about 7pm, it started to get busy at that time. You use a machine at the front to tell the staff how many people are dining, and this will give you a ticket with your number on it. They will call out your number when the seat is ready for your party. I ordered a seafood set, which included sashimi, tempura, miso soup, a sushi set and also dessert. I added agedashi tofu and a whiskey lemon sour also. Most people sit at the bar and it is interesting to watch the chefs making sashimi and sushi. I like places like this because it's not awkward to visit if you're alone.

Went here for a late dinner and I was pleasantly surprised with the salmon bowl. They also had free green tea refills which was nice. The service was fast and not much wait for a table. The bowl was 900¥ which is amazing considering the sheer amount of fresh salmon and included salmon roe! The salmon was melt in your mouth and tasted great with the fresh wasabi and ginger. Definitely the best salmon bowl I had during my time in Japan!!

Visited this place last year during my first trip to Japan and could not resist the temptation to resist during my second visit. Overall the restaurant has a broad variety of different sushi options to choose from, all of which are hand crafted to perfection. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. The tuna otoro literally melts in your mouth, its incredible. Would highly recommend this restaurant if you are visiting Osaka!
