Their (DOTEYAKI) Simmered Beef Tendon is my Favourite dish here! My take is order their fried skewered Vegetables! If you like Crunchy bites order (RENKON) Lotus Roots! Broccoli skewer and Cheese skewer is a must! If you like Chewy highly recommend (KONYAKU) it’s kind of a jelly texture, konyaku itself doesn’t have much taste to it. So you could really taste the dipping sauce! Avoid Weiner and Ham.. not that fantastic... Cabbage is free flow!
DO NOT DOUBLE DIP! When you skewers is placed on the tray, Dip into sauce then transfer it to your personal plate. DO NOT DIP ANYTHING THAT IS ALREADY ON YOUR PERSONAL PLATE EVEN IF UNTOUCH.
There are signs in japanese saying “do not use mobile phones/smart phones” i took some pictures and texted a few times.. they seem chill about it.
Lots of review says they aren’t friendly to foreigners.. I am not Japanese and do not speak Japanese but have never personally experienced bad service! Visited a few times, Service is not superb but no staff...

I chose this one because it was recommended by numerous YouTubers. the food is decent on the pricier side of things, not very filling but your wallet is getting thiner. the chef(s) are very attractive and friendly. they are well trained and skillful. happy with my orders, dont be shy to ask for an English menu. they are very accommodating, the stews are right in front of you, just point. be careful as some of the ingredients are pricy for the portion.
or copy what your fellow guests are ordering. my favorites are the scallops, cheese, tender beef, and squid legs. i recommend to try it once, interesting experience for sure. and remember: NO DOUBLE...
Read moreThis is my go-to place in Osaka and arguably one of the best kushikatsu restaurants around. When we went for dinner, the line was incredibly long—we ended up waiting about an hour. Still, it was absolutely worth it.
You sit at the counter and order each kushiage (deep-fried skewer) directly, so everything is served piping hot and freshly fried. Every skewer we tried was delicious. My personal favorite is the dotekatsu—a comforting combination of kushikatsu and doteyaki (a rich beef tendon stew). Highly recommend it.
One thing to note: I’m not sure how foreigner-friendly this spot is. The menu is posted on the wall and entirely in Japanese, so it might be a bit tricky if you don’t read the language. I’d recommend coming with a Japanese speaker or at least memorizing a few common kushikatsu items in Japanese...
