Sushi Sensu Kitashinchi Main Branch — Restaurant in Osaka

I would not recommend this place! I saw some bad reviews before coming and hoped they were wrong, but unfortunately, they weren’t. Although the food was mostly tasty, their customer service was very poor. I came by myself and took the 15 course omakase, while I was the only costumer in the restaurant. They made me feel unwelcome, and the chef (who was very young) didn’t wait even a second between dishes; it felt like they just wanted me to leave. I also tried to talk with him a little bit about the food and the products, but he preferred to give me short answers, and went to the kitchen to giggle with the waitress and another cook. An appetizer was also served without asking for it, and only later I found out it cost extra. The waitress didn’t mention anything at the time. Their rice also very seasoned with vinegar. You can find fresh sushi and fresh fish in the market without having to pay 12,000 yen for this kind...

Unwelcoming staff, the young man behind the counter seemed annoyed when I came in and asked him to confirm if this is the right place as there was no sign in English.

We were placed in a table that was a hole in the wall, literally, and when we asked if we could sit at the counter, the young man said again there were full, but throughout the meal we checked and there were seats available at the counter.

Service was none existent. The girl who served our table would not refill any empty tea cup. The tea refill was not so warm, despite us having to ask every single time.

Last of all, food was the worse. Having been to quite a number of Sushi restaurants all over Japan, this meal was by far the worst. The rice was so overseasoned with salt and the brown vinegar that all of us were so thirsty all afternoon till...

Unfortunately me and my friend felt unwelcomed at this location. We went in an 21:30 with the store closing at 23:00 however the Service was very intrusive. We had to order quickly and you could feel the impatience of the water to pick up our plates. Unfortunately we also didnt recieve 2 sushi plates instead we got served one only which we had to share. Right after we finished the meal the water could not wait any longer and gave us the bill.

The Sushi however was in good quality, however pricy.
