The Fire — Restaurant in Osaka

Didn’t realize there was an elevator, and walked up the haunted house stairs, which made for a very creepy atmosphere to start, made it to the top floor live, and was instantly greeted by some of the friendliest Aussies ever, The handmade drinks were delicious, the service was especially friendly, and the atmosphere is completely relaxed, The star of the show is the sesame based Ramen!!! We were treated to a Shotski by the staff to boot!!! We took the elevator down, which was just as scary as the stairs up but that’s OK, because we love haunted houses in Ford is in our family is just an added touch!! Thank you for a wonderful start to our evening and some truly excellent vegan food made by a guy in a kitchen that is smaller than my closet, I would highly recommend supporting this establishment because they are warm and friendly and are trying to add to growing need where veggie food options are needed, cheers!! Of course, as a vegan, you can’t really go to most "normal" ramen shops — that much is clear. But then you end up in unauthentic places like The Fire, packed with 100% tourists, where you pay double the price of non-vegan ramen - a total rip-off. The place is also extremely uncomfortable — the table and menus were greasy and sticky. It felt more like a dark filthy lounge bar than a ramen restaurant....zero japanese ramen bar vibes.

We went as a group of three because one travel companions is vegetarian & the other one vegan. The sesame ramen was good, but the tonkotsu had a very thin and overly sweet broth. Overall, it was a rather disappointing experience.

We honestly can't understand the positive reviews. And the service was below average — especially by Japanese standards. Drinks and food were placed on the table almost wordlessly and with a bit of an attitude.

In Tokyo you get way better vegan options in authentic places for half...

I heard the owner saved 2 women being verbally and physically assaulted by two men who are well known for there racist comments and disturbing of the piece. Well done good sir. i also heard the two men got a multitude of people to give the place bad reviews in backlash for there own poor behaviors so here's a 5 star from me merely since we don't let the idiots win. Also if you ever get the opportunity to thank a youtuber by the name of oompaville he has shown his entire community which is 5 million people the good deed you did that day. as a part of his community i have your back and so will many many more sent from oompa himself. he also shows all the stupid stuff those men did to the japanese people and its community in general. i hope the yk has your back too cuz ik they dislike the 2 men very very...
