One of the stores that can rally let the Apple brand down. Was one of the first customers to go into the store when it opened and fix the product we wanted to buy as we had created the combo earlier. Looked and felt the product and was ready to buy. The sales person was to create the bill while we looked at possibly adding another item to buy but she just went on to help someone with a technical query? We kept waiting for her to be free and then another colleague tells us the line to buy us elsewhere? That was behind all the people who came after us? I understand there was a language barrier but she called someone who spoke English and we were met with the same response which was very rude and extremely unlike any Apple Store professional.
We stood in the so called buy line for about 10 minutes and we could see people in front being attended by others. When someone came to us the person who sent us to the line told that rep something and he just moved on from us. All the while we can see that the original person who had to just punch the order was helping someone with a technical issue and that person looked like he was there to charge his watch probably.
We left without buying as it was quite an insulting and unprofessional experience. We felt Japan had a way of doing things and it’s true in most places but at Apple Store in Osaka it turned out to be the opposite of whatever Apple is known for and Japanese customer service is known for. We left the store. The store team don’t know how to treat their customers at all.
We came back to our home destination and picked up the two products with so much ease and respect… it was an...
Read moreYesterday, 12/4 I was really upset that they closed and cancelled all reservations without a single email to notify its clients that they are closed. But today, 12/5 I tried to call the store and tell them how upset I was about what happened yesterday. They turned my first 1 star rating to 5 stars. Usually, you have to wait a week to find a suitable time after work for me to go since they are always full. But today, in courtesy of what happened yesterday, even without reservations they told I can go there anytime and will be attended with priority. True enough, I didn’t wait that long. The guy checking the reservations was very helpful. He speaks English really well, assisted me to get a quick appointment and even did some small talk. Awesome customer service. I didn’t get to ask their names. The guy (I’m really bad at memorizing names) who helped me with my problem with my airpods too was flawless. He changed my airpods case and left airpods. He opened up some small talk and was really nice. I remember their faces and the guy below the entrance told me he liked Filipino- boodle fight and been to Canada. The guy upstairs taught abacus in Tondo, Philippines for 6 months and spoke tagalog. I remember this much about them but not their names 😅. Really thank you for the...
Read moreHonestly I had a great experience with the employees there but i’m sad to say and give this (quite low) rating because one person made our experience there the worst. The workers inside were very friendly and helped aid us alot but the person who was guarding and greeting us at the front door was, to us, very rude and racist.
We went out of the store and sanitised our hands and went back in right after that because we had forgotten something. The person yelled rudely at us “SANITIZE!!” in japanese. We understand japanese so it very shocking as we were actually about to go sanitize, mind you, AGAIN even though he literally saw us walked out and it without touching anything. (it’s hard to not notice us because i’m the only person wearing the hijab there). I understand there is a specific rule even though we just sanitised before leaving but we were not planning to not sanitise as we were literally only half way through the entrance so we do not understand where his anger came from.
At first we thought it was just his way of talking but I saw the way he greeted other Japanese customers and he treated them differently. Kindly to be precise. It made our experience turn from great to just awful because of the old man at the front door (he had...
