I want to share my wonderful experience of staying in Shinsaibashi Arty Inn, Osaka with my family in early Mar 2025.
Hardware – On 4/F of the hotel, there is a great hot spring area with both hot and cold-water pubs. And let us not forget there is a Sauna room allowing you relaxing in dry bath. I like this complete set of spa area not easily find in another hotel. Especially when you want to freshening up yourself after a nice daily journey in Osaka. The last but not the least, there is an after-spa resting room with a wide range of beauty and health tools: foot massager, shoulder massager and facial cosmetology device. Together with a wide range of selection of skin care and hair care products; a selection of tea bags; plus the wonderful background relaxing music…etc. you just feel like home.
I cannot help but usually stay up to totally 2 hours in this lady spa area on 4/F.
A wide variety of bedroom with different sizes, I enjoyed the 200-258 sq ft for 2 or 3 adults the most. Very comfy and large 2 or 3 single beds, sofa bed with triangle pillow in a spacious room. A family of 4 members can play some Uno cards or other games with some snack in the room, again, just like at home. It has a very high value/price ratio.
Software- The location is great, not only with a Family Mart convenience store located right next to the hotel, but you can easily find good coffee shops, dinning places, and vintage clothing shops etc. It takes about 9 mins to walk into the high end central area with large brand shops like LV, Chanel….so convenient to access the subway as well.
Staff – The receptionists, Ms. Misaki-san (Japanese) and Mr. Yang (Korean) are very friendly and being considerate to foreign tourists like us. They help us in some room arrangement after booking. There is always some unexpected issue coming out, you know.
But they are willing to accommodate your needs as far as within their ability and hotel policy. I really appreciate that.
And since we need to take a very early flight on check out date, we need to book two taxi from hotel to airport bus stop at 4:30 a.m. Luckily, we meet Ms. Misaki-san and Mr. Yang at the reception area the night before we checked out. They have made very good arrangement to book the 2 taxis for us. Although we cannot speak Japanese language, they try their best to speak English and deliver the service for the customer’s most possible convenience.
I do not even need to voice out when I reach the reception counter in the checking out morning. The gentleman just said: you have booked 2 taxis at 4:30 a.m., it is ready! That is the perfect ending.
It is always about the services in hotel business especially in difficult times likes bad economy and outbreak of flu. Other staffs in this hotel are also very nice to us during our stay. Keep it up, Shinsaibashi Arty Inn, you will reach 5 Star in the near future.

Read moreRoom is small but very clean, service was absolutely 10/10 especially the lovely man who had is honeymoon in Australia he was so polite and courteous. The location is so central and has a little ramp on one of the stairs to help push your luggage up in the entry near the family mart. So many amenities. Sento was a amazing especially after a big day of walking it absolutely relieved the pain in my legs, I’m young but I wear compression stockings because I have a condition that makes my circulation really bad so it was amazing and really helped me recover for the next day of exploring. I would definitely stay here again but I’ll be trying j ship next to have another sento experience. They do have rules for tattoo but where very accomodating and not overly strict like other places I have a half sleeve and they allowed me to use it without cover up sticker but said if I had more I couldn’t use it, I really appreciated this and I was very polite if I thought I was offending anyone I would leave and come back later when it was less busy, but for the most part everyone didn’t mind and was very nice. They have so much free stuff like hair tyes, tooth brush, pj’s, floss, peach tea flavour was my favourite you could fill a big cup with ice on level 4 and get this peach tea from level 1 and pour it in like cordial but it was sooo yummm. It was absolutely heaven I can’t fault it at all and I definitely recommend it to anyone, if you’re friendly, respectful and courteous you will find the Japanese people will bend over backwards to help you. Thank you so much for a lovely experience to all the workers from the cleaners to front desk attendants. Thank you Shinsaibashi Artyy inn next time I visit I’ll definitely use your accommodation again, it actually makes me want to remove My tattoos so I can use more places similar that...
Read more7-8 min walk away from both Namba station and Shinsaibashi station. Its located at the middle between both stations, Amerika-mura is just a min walk away Namba station i took exit B4, only stairs, couldnt find the elevator exit. Shinsaibashi station , take the hotel nikko exit, has elevator. I was able to check in early at 12pm when i arrive, amazing!
Pros: many wonderful amenities available! BEAUTY lounge only for female travellers! there is beauty room where face steamer, face LED massager, yoga mat, hair oil, hair clip, hair curler/straightener, hair spray, etc public bath is nice with a variety of sample shampoo, has hair oil too! unlimited amenities in lobby, quite extensive choices including face lotion, moisturizer, body lotion, hotel room shoes etc quiet to sleep at night
Cons (for me personally): the room i chose is only shower no bathtub, double room but its suitable for 1 person in my opinion, as per expected of japanese hotels next to the hotel is a club i think, long queue of young crowd, even queued until block the entrance to the hotel. :( im introvert 7-8 min is kinda long walk for me with luggage a few steps of stairs when entering lobby, difficult if u have big heavy luggage
You have to hand your hotel keys to hotel when you go out, i think its to prevent losing keys :) just FYI so dont get surprised.
Anyhow I really like this hotel, kinda wish its closer walk to train station :D Love the amenities...
