Just wow. Amazingly thick slices of generous portions of tuna sashimi, very friendly staff, and a wonderfully homey hole in the wall atmosphere. If you want a lot but reasonably priced fresh tuna and a uniquely authentic Japanese experience, definitely give this place a try! Everything is written in Japanese, but if you can't read Japanese, just point to this review and say you want ๅไธผ (or the smaller size, ใใผใๅไธผ, which is what I ordered), which is the most popular dish: lightly marinated fatty and lean tuna sashimi over rice. Mmm.
For first timers, I recommend getting the "smaller size" (ใใผใๅไธผ)! (Which is still more than enough for an adult woman like me though! See pics.) You can also ask for less or more rice, and free miso...

The Kintetsu line is 2 mins from the restaurant . You can take a 7 min train ride and explore Namba while you wait .
I ordered the mix tuna bowl(3x items: flame seared Akami, Akami and Chu Toro =2,500 yen). They start you off with Miso soup and marinated Akami(included in the price). The tuna bowel was huge . The tuna was fresh. Chutoro was not thawed out enough. Food is good, but nothing to rave about . If you have time, you should at least try...
