Yakiniku Hormone Uchida — Restaurant in Osaka

So far the worst dining experiences in Japan. First, the server didn't have us the oshimori (hand towel) but she gavye to all other Japanese customers after she identified we are foreigners. Second, the fire of the stove is at full speed that our meat can be easily overcooked if not flipping around. Third, the restaurant will charge 300 yen kind of service fee which was indeed written on the bottom of the menu with a small font but the server could have notified us beforehand instead of charging directly to us. I am not sure if this just happens to foreigners or if they just don't welcome people from overseas. Therefore, I wouldn't recommend this store because of the discrimination that we felt during the entire dining experience. This is outrageous so I am posting this review right after my bad experience here. To be fair, the meat quality is around average and the tongue with green onion is really something new to us but I do believe you should have more choice around Osaka. I will avoid this yakiniku place at all cost so you don't feel the same...

The food was good for the price. However, it was the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had in Japan. We weren’t told there was a 1.5 hour time limit before we got in. When the time was up, the waitress simply put down the bill and came back 5 mins later to tell us we have to go because she has next reservation waiting. The waitress also refused initially to give us another piece of lemon, even thought we ordered two different types of beef tongue which they recommend to season with lemon juice. With so many yakinku options nearby, I doubt I would ever recommend this...

I work for aviation, so I visited Osaka’s yakiniku so frequently. If you are visitor, and looking for , want, visit in downtown, Namba side’s Yakiniku restaurant is much better. This restaurant, Last year open, anyway, Do not expect nice services. Part time jobs staffs are not generous and friendly anymore.

I visited with originally from local osaka person. Because this name of restaurant was famous for butcher’s restaurant. And newly open branch in Umeda.

That was why I believed and visited. Here needs improving.
