Yakitori Bamora Sonezaki — Restaurant in Osaka

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. It was clear that the staff were not friendly towards tourists. I understand that some restaurants prefer not to serve tourists, and if that's the case, you could clearly state that you only accept customers who can communicate in Japanese at your entrance. Instead, I was able to make a reservation online, only to be met with unfriendly service.

For instance, in a typical Japanese restaurant, everyone receives a wet towel to clean their hands, but we didn’t get any at our table. Normally, there’s some eye contact or a wave from the staff to check on customers, but here, they completely ignored us. If the restaurant doesn’t want tourist business, that's understandable, but they could handle it better by clearly stating their policy. Many restaurants do this, and I don’t see why it would be a problem.

Furthermore, the seating arrangement was very poor. A large table meant for eight was split between two groups of strangers, making it uncomfortable and difficult to converse with my friend across the table. Everyone had to speak quite loudly. I noticed another table of five where a couple sat side by side facing three other customers, creating an awkward atmosphere. I even saw two foreign customers who waited a long time to be seated, only to leave shortly after.

As for the food, it wasn’t bad, but for the price, there are many better restaurants with more comfortable seating. The uncomfortable seating made me appreciate the food even less. If the seating were comfortable and the service more attentive, I might have enjoyed the meal more. Unfortunately, the combination of poor service and seating made this experience...

Wonderful place to eat at. They have both English and Chinese menu, so don’t be intimidated by not understanding Japanese and missed out at this lovely place.

This is the first time I brought my mom to Japan, and she always wanted to try Yakitori. Though I did not successfully convince her to try raw chicken. But she through and through enjoyed the experience!

Thank you for all the lovely staffs and amazing meals, my mom still talks about it...

こちら全て肉厚で ジューシー感と弾力やばし 中でも、ぼんじりなんかは いや、、おっお前！ プリップリやなかい！∑⊂(ﾟДﾟ) と誰もがツッコミそう(笑) そして、だきみ…ってなんだ？？ って事で聞いてみると 鶏むね肉を皮で巻いてるとのこと ほうほう...φ(・ω・ ) 外はパリッと中は旨味溢れるジュワ～とで美味しい
