we found this ramen shop on a stroke of good luck. our plan was to eat at a popular ramen shop down the road which we had tried before. it was busy and we chose to walk up the road to wait but instead found this shop by accident. the owner, a very cute older man opened the door and showed his face and smiled. that was enough for us to go inside. the shop was empty but charming, and it felt like stepping back in time. we ordered our food easily and waited in the traditional style seating. we ordered the shio ramen and the spicy miso with two half boiled eggs. everything was delicious. the shio was salty but smooth, it left a good taste in your mouth and the spicy miso was rich and layered with spice but both were highlighted by the addition of local vegetables such as mushrooms and cabbage. the egg was the best we’ve found in over 6 months in japan. nowhere in otaru can match the vibe and quality of this place. thank...

Amazing Ramen! We came here on a recommendation and it didn’t disappoint, one of the best ramens we have had in a while, it was so flavoursome. We had the Miso Ramen (750) and the Spicy Ramen (850). You order the ramen from the ticket machine, there is English on the photos of the ramen to make selection easy. The chef is also helpful and came over to assist and make recommendations. The place is small with limited bar stool seating but we went in early at 6pm and it wasn’t busy, however when we walked past later in the evening it was full. Delicious ramen and wonderful hospitality!! I had the miso with pork and egg for 750 along side gyoza for 300. Pictured menu on the wall which made it super easy to decide and paid at a vending machine which again made the process so simple! The owner was wonderful very friendly and helped us with everything. The seating was cozy and comfortable with lots of additions such as garlic and peanuts to add to the dish. After our meal we got a complimentary ice cream which was just so wonderful!!
