Though just strolling by the shops was enough to admire the charm of Otaru! Quaint and pretty shops decorate the street, some traditional while most have European vibes. Perhaps next time I'd be able to experience...

There are plenty of interesting shops, for art, food, gifts etc. you can easily spend half a day here - walking from one end to another, then crossing the street for the return journey.
