BUSHWICK GRILL COCOON CITY — Restaurant in Saitama

Although I have been to Cocoon Mall many times, this was my first time dining at Bushwick Grill. The first time I saw the name I immediately thought of the late Hip Hop artist Bushwick Bill of the Geto Boys. So I finally decided to check it out and it did not disappoint. Although situated in a mall, it didn’t feel like a mall. The atmosphere was relaxed and chill. The menu has quite a few options from steak to pork to chicken. I settled on the lamb with a drink bar, coleslaw, and an assortment of bread. The coleslaw was okay. It was good. The Breda and lamb on the other hand were chef’s kiss and made up for what the slaw was lacking. The meat was tender and just the right amount of fat with a balsamic sauce. I tried their American Waffle with Matcha, Red Bean, and Whipped Cream. The presentation was beautiful, a golden waffle topped with a scoop of rich green matcha ice cream, sweet red bean paste, and fresh whipped cream, all drizzled with matcha syrup and finished with a light dusting of powdered sugar. The waffle itself had a pleasant crispness on the outside while remaining soft inside. The combination of slightly bitter matcha and the gentle sweetness of red bean worked perfectly together, balanced by the light cream. 接客がひどすぎてびっくりしました。 16時頃入店で店内も空いてて忙しい訳でもないのに、パパママ応援ショップ優待(ランチタイムはプチデザート提供、15時以降はキッズハンバーグプレート半額と記載あり)の注文方法が分からなくて店員さんを呼ぶと、「デザートですけどすぐお持ちしますか？」と言われ、"15時以降はキッズハンバーグプレート半額じゃなかったですか？"と聞くと、確認します、と。メインディッシュの注文があればできるからまずはメインを選ぶように案内されました。 メニューを決めて再度注文しようとその店員さんに声をかけると、目を逸らして無視され、他の店員さんにお願いすると、「パパママのやつはこちらでやるので、先にこちらからメインを注文してもらえますか？」とQRコードを指さされました。 スマホで注文してから再度店員さんを呼び「メインを注文したんですが、パパママのはどうしたらいいですか？」と聞くと「あ、それはできないんでこちらで処理しますね」と。 注文方法がQRコード読み取りでスマホ注文でしたが、直接オーダーも承ります...
